The 20th February marked the start of competition season for a very special gymnast at North Walsham Gymnastics Club. A new competition called Alpha Factor was held at Ipswich and is a National open competition. This is the first time Paige Yarham had entered an event outside of her county and coped with the pressure extremely well. Despite her handgaurds coming off in the middle of her bar routine she still managed to claw her way into the top 3 with a fantastic score on Beam of 11.10, the highest in her group, a great vault and also the hoghest floor score of 10.80. Paige came away with the 3rd place sash which was just the start to her podium run.
